Which cookies and browser storage this website uses, what for, and how to change your choice.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser, so it recognises you on the next page or the next visit.
Besides cookies we use local storage in your browser. It works in a similar way, but the value is not sent to the server with every request. This statement covers both.
2. Which cookies do we use?
We sort them into three groups. Only the necessary ones are always on; we set the other two only once you consent.
Necessary
These cookies and values make the site work and remember your choices. They are always on and contain no personal data.

Form security
As soon as you start filling in a form, Google reCAPTCHA loads to check that a human is sending it. Google may set cookies on its own domain while doing so. Without this check we cannot keep the forms free of spam; if you would rather not use it, call or email us.
Analytics (only with consent)
These show us how the site is used, so we can improve it. They are only set once you consent; if you reject them, the site clears them.

The names are name fragments: _ga also covers _ga_ followed by a code.
3. Managing cookies
You decide which cookies you allow and can change your choice at any time with the button below. If you withdraw consent, the site clears the cookies of that group. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.
4. Third parties
Some cookies do not come from us but from services we use:
- Google reCAPTCHA, as soon as you start filling in a form, to keep out spam.
- Google Tag Manager loads on every page and passes on your choice. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Advertising set nothing until you consent.
Which of these services actually measure depends on the settings of our tag manager; without your consent none of them sets anything.
5. Retention periods
- Your cookie choice (cookie_control and cookie_control_prefs): 30 days.
- Local storage (vwa:lang and vwa:sticky-cta-dismissed): until you clear it.
- Analytics cookies: up to 2 years, depending on the service.
- Advertising cookies: up to 13 months, depending on the service.
