HKLIVING EUDR portal.
Draw it once,
back up every order.
A portal in which HKLIVING’s suppliers record and reuse where their wood comes from, and in which HKLIVING prepares, files and tracks its due diligence statements for the EU.

The challenge
Showing the origin,
order by order.
Under the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), companies have to be able to show where the raw materials for certain products come from. For the wooden products in scope, HKLIVING files a due diligence statement (DDS) through TRACES, the EU’s information system. For large and medium-sized companies the regulation applies from 30 December 2026.
That means information on suppliers, products, areas of origin and documents has to come together. Suppliers do not work in TRACES themselves, and TRACES does not keep areas for the next statement. Without good support, that means a lot of manual collecting, checking and re-entering.
How do you bring that information together, without anyone entering it again and again?
The solution
One portal for suppliers and HKLIVING.
We built one environment for suppliers and HKLIVING. Purchasing data comes from the existing systems, suppliers add the origin, and HKLIVING checks the information, prepares the statements, files them and tracks their progress. Changes and actions are recorded, so you can always see who did what and when.
- Supplier
Record areas once
Draw on the map, upload a map file or enter coordinates. Country and size are calculated automatically, and the area can be reused for every next order.
- Supplier
The chain per area
Each area records the links in the supply chain, with documents and a note. For an order, only areas with a wood species that matches the product are offered.
- HKLIVING
Statements from the dashboard
Once an order is complete, HKLIVING checks the data and files the statement from the dashboard. After that, the status of each order can be tracked.
- Automatic
Data that is already there
Purchase orders and product data arrive from the existing systems through automatic data exchange. Order lines that need no statement are skipped.

HKLIVING decided which data suppliers provide, with input from a supplier.

The supplier portal
Recognisable,
and in English.
The portal is in English and follows HKLIVING’s look. For each purchase order, suppliers see how far along they are and what still needs attention.
Areas have an overview of their own and are reused for every next order. Once an order is complete, it goes to HKLIVING to be checked.
HKLIVING’s dashboard
Every order,
easy to follow.
In Umbraco, HKLIVING sees every order by phase: with the supplier, ready for the statement, filed and done. The statement is filed from the same dashboard, through a connection with TRACES.
Changes and actions on orders and areas are recorded, and documents can be found per order.
The result
Less manual work,
more overview.
An area is recorded once and reused after that, and product data comes from the existing systems instead of being typed in by hand.
Suppliers and HKLIVING work from one environment. Documents, progress and changes can be found per order, and filing and tracking statements is part of the normal workflow. Assessment and responsibility for compliance remain with HKLIVING.
